The app license

End User License Agreement

The license that lets you use the Joura app, what you may and may not do with it, and the app-store terms that apply. This EULA works together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Effective: September 9, 2026. This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a binding agreement between you and Wandering Castle LLC ("Wandering Castle," "we," "us") for your use of the Joura mobile application and its updates, content, and documentation (the "Application"). It supplements our Terms of Service, which also apply. By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use the Application. Where this EULA and the Terms of Service address the same subject, the Terms of Service control unless a store's required minimum terms say otherwise.

1. This is a license, not a sale

The Application is licensed to you, not sold. Subject to this EULA, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download and use one copy of the Application on a device that you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial parenting use, and to receive updates we make available. This license is also subject to the usage rules of the app store you obtained the Application from (for Apple, the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions "Usage Rules").

2. Who may use the Application

You must be at least 18 years old and an adult parent or caregiver with legal capacity to enter this EULA. The Application is intended for adults and is not directed to, and may not be used by, children. By using the Application you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. What you may not do

You agree that you will not, and will not permit anyone else to:

We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these restrictions.

4. Ownership and reserved rights

The Application, including its software, the underlying on-device engine, the curated content and suggestions, the "Joura" name and logo, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Wandering Castle or its licensors and is protected by law. Except for the limited license in Section 1, this EULA grants you no rights, by implication or otherwise, in the Application or our intellectual property. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. What Joura is, and what it is not

Joura offers general, informational parenting suggestions. It runs on a deterministic, on-device engine, not an artificial-intelligence system or a chatbot; its suggestions are drawn from published expert guidance, not generated by AI. You are using an informational tool, not a person or a professional.

Joura is not professional advice. It does not provide medical, psychological, mental-health, developmental, nutritional, legal, or other professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for a qualified professional such as your pediatrician or a licensed therapist. Joura does not know your child and does not diagnose or label your child. Joura is not for emergencies and cannot help in one. If your child is or may be in danger, or you are concerned about anyone's safety, contact your local emergency services (for example, 911 in the United States) immediately.

You are solely responsible for all decisions and actions regarding your child and family, whether or not informed by the Application, and you use the Application and any suggestion at your own risk. This mirrors Sections 3 through 6 of the Terms of Service, which are incorporated here.

6. Updates and availability

We may provide updates, upgrades, or new versions, which this EULA also covers unless a separate license accompanies them. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Application or any feature at any time, and we do not guarantee that the Application will always be available or compatible with your device or operating-system version.

7. Subscriptions and payments

Some features ("Joura Pro") may require a paid, auto-renewing subscription. Purchases are processed by the app store (Apple or Google), not by us, and are subject to that store's terms; billing, renewals, trials, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the app store and by Section 7 of the Terms of Service. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your app-store account settings.

8. Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability

The application is provided "as is" and "as available," with all faults and without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wandering Castle disclaims all warranties, express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability and the exclusions and limits in Sections 4 and 5 of the Terms of Service apply to this EULA, including the liability cap of the greater of the amounts you paid us in the prior twelve months or US$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so some may not apply to you.

9. Export and legal compliance

You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist-supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable export-control and sanctions laws in using the Application.

10. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights end automatically if you fail to comply with it. On termination you must stop using the Application and delete all copies. Sections 3 through 5 and 8 through 13 survive termination.

11. Apple App Store: additional terms

If you obtained the Application from the Apple App Store, the following also apply, and prevail to the extent of any conflict with the rest of this EULA:

12. Google Play and other stores

If you obtained the Application from Google Play or another store, that store's terms also apply, and this EULA is between you and Wandering Castle only, not the store. The store is not responsible for the Application or its content, maintenance, support, or any claims relating to it.

13. Governing law, disputes, and general

This EULA is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the dispute-resolution terms (including informal resolution, individual arbitration where permitted, and the class-action and jury waiver) in Section 14 of the Terms of Service apply to it. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. This EULA, with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, is the entire agreement about the Application. This EULA is written in English; any translation is for convenience only and the English version controls.
